SAANYS Condemns Statement by Carl Paladino

SAANYS condemns the disrespectful and racially charged comments recently made by Buffalo Board of Education member Carl Paladino toward the President and First Lady of the United States. Educators and leaders of our public schools must serve as role models for our students and have an ethical obligation to demonstrate respect for one another and to engage in public discourse in a mature manner. Our students are watching and listening and will live what they learn.
