Probationary Tenure Period for Principals

SAANYS has issued a member ACTION ALERT to urge members of the Assembly Education Committee to support AB 8108. This bill reduces the probationary tenure period for principals from four to three years, for administrators moving to a new district who have been granted prior tenure. Teachers have had the probationary period reduced through prior legislation. This Action Alert will go to members of the Assembly who sit on the Education Committee.
