Supporting K-12 Multilingual Learners: Tips for School Leaders

Power Hours are free of charge, but registration is required.

This workshop will focus upon key actions school leaders can take to ensure optimal results for ENL students and families. Key administrative requirements, including timely parent notifications and provisional student placements will be discussed, and examples will be shared. Other key topics such as the ENL teacher’s role, scheduling regulations, the intersection of special education and ENL, assessment changes, and communication with families will be explored.
