SAANYS Delivers Testimony at Legislative Hearing

On February 1, SAANYS joined a panel of colleagues to deliver testimony at the Joint Legislative Public Hearing on the 2024 Executive Budget proposal as it relates to elementary & secondary education. Dr. Cynthia Gallagher, SAANYS director of government relations, discussed SAANYS’ position on Foundation Aid, provided feedback on reading initiatives, and discussed challenges for schools and school administrators, including staffing and absenteeism.
