SAANYS Letter to SED Interim Commissioner Tahoe Regarding In-person Special Education Services
This letter from SAANYS Executive Director Kevin Casey provided comments to SED regarding the new guidance for in-person special education services for the summer term. Based on input from members, SAANYS has indicated that the guidance would benefit from additional clarity as to the discretion of school districts to operate such summer programming and other clarifications regarding facial coverings and temperature checks.
