APPR Update – Assembly Bill Introduced
SAANYS has learned that the Assembly has introduced bill number A.10475. While all details have not yet been analyzed, the bill would modify the use of state assessments for evaluation purposes.
It is anticipated that any use of state exams for evaluation will be fully locally negotiable and that currently approved assessments will continue to be allowable in the future. Currently there is no Senate “Same As” bill.
