Discipline for students with disabilities can be confusing due to both the Federal and State regulations and protections. This session will explore the regulations and requirements for students with disabilities, along with common-sense strategies for building leaders to ensure compliance without feeling powerless to discipline students who may be interfering with the educational environment. Collaboration with special education administrators is essential to ensure you receive support during the disciplinary process.

Those who attend three or four sessions will receive a complimentary copy of The Principal’s Special Education Calendar: A Month-by-Month Roadmap to Building Consistency, Equity, and Compliance in Your School by Dr. Joanne Lane.

These sessions are free of charge but registration is required.
