SAANYS Welcomes New Director of Corporate Services

SAANYS is pleased to announce that Alan Edstrom has joined its management team this summer as the director of corporate services.

In this role, Alan serves as SAANYS’ liaison to the business community, forging partnerships and opportunities for the association and its 22,000 members around the state. Alan replaces Debbie Taylor as director. Debbie was a valued and well-known staff member at SAANYS for over 35 years, beginning her career in the Legal Department and then serving as director of corporate services for nearly 20 years.

Alan comes to SAANYS with over two decades of experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, and program administration. He has served as head of events and chief kindness officer at Beekman 1802; director of sponsorships and events for the Saratoga Polo Association; and director of programs and events for the Saratoga Automobile Museum, among other responsibilities. Fun fact about Alan – he is also a magician!

Members will have an opportunity to meet SAANYS’ newest team member at this year’s Annual Conference, October 26-27, as he coordinates the exhibition hall and sponsorship experiences.
