Each year, the SAANYS Region 6 Board holds its annual Leadership Breakfast to recognize leadership in all of its forms in our schools. This year, the breakfast will be held on May 18th from 9am – 11am at the Vista at Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park.
Awards:
Jennie C. Pennington Award – recognizes an individual whose dedication & exceptional contributions throughout their career have made a difference for children & communities.
Friend of Education Award – honors an individual, group, or organization that has supported outstanding public school education & serves as a role model.
Excelsior Award – awarded to individuals whose dedication & exceptional contributions throughout their career have made a difference for children & their school community.
Student Leadership Awards – acknowledges up to four students in grades 5-12 who demonstrate positive character, effort in the classroom, & involvement in co-curricular activities.
