Members Meet with Governor’s Office and Commissioner

At the fall meeting of the SAANYS Government Relations Committee, SAANYS members met with Duffy Palmer, deputy secretary for education, and other staff members from the governor’s office in the Capitol Blue Room. Members then crossed the street to meet with Commissioner Steiner, Senior Deputy Commissioner King, Becky Cort, deputy commissioner for VESID, among others. Following the meeting with the commissioner, the SAANYS Assessment Advisory Committee met with Assistant Commissioner David Abrams.
