FOUR VIRTUAL 3 HOUR SESSIONS:
AUGUST 3 | OCTOBER 17 | NOVEMBER 15 | JANUARY 18
9:00 am-12:00 Noon
Registration is closed.
Addressing diversity and equity issues is one of the most pressing challenges facing our schools today, and the shift from talk to action has definitely occurred. Districts like yours all over the state are focusing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts on goals and initiatives that might look quite different district to district, but the work is moving forward, with lots being learned along the way. Regardless of where you are in your DEI journey or what priorities you have chosen, individualized support and guidance can make all the difference in whether the work flourishes or flounders. Improving academic access and outcomes, grappling with gender-based equity questions, implementing restorative disciplinary practices, revamping hiring practices, or updating curriculum are only a few examples of the types of goals districts are working on.

Are you looking for a better way to administer and manage practice tests? DataMate allows practice assessments to be given online in a mirrored, NYS CBT Nextera-like format with text-to-speech functionality. Educators can administer a full or partial state practice test in ELA, Math, or Science searchable by year, grade, assessment, standard and keyword. Collect powerful data to analyze and better understand where your students are struggling. By instantly connecting to real-time information, educators can identify student challenges and make targeted instructional shifts to improve performance and meet goals. This workshop, sponsored by Educational Vistas, Inc., will give you the information you need to move forward with practice tests.
Facilitator Bill Bouchard:
Bill for over 20 years has been working with EVI’s programming team to address the needs of school districts and oversees the product support team, data capture, and the data entry staff. Moreover, he works with school districts to process their data to be loaded into various EVI products.
Facilitator Peter Cooper:
Pete has been in the EdTech and assessment industry for 18 years working in operations, scoring, sales, customer support, and item writing workshops from start to finish on assessments. Pete joined Educational Vistas in 2021, after spending 16 years at Questar Assessment, who was the NYS high stakes test provider.

The Impact of Learning Environment Design on Educators
The Simulation:
So much of our focus in learning space design tends to prioritize the learner. Often students are at the center of decisions made about new buildings, renovated spaces, and how to use existing furniture and other resources effectively. But while having these conversations, we can’t forget about another key element of learning space design: how it affects educators.
Teachers are our most important resource in schools, but they can grow inefficient and ineffective without the right tools. In addition to school climate measures, professional development, and holistic health support, educators need access to spaces that support their performance and enhance modern learning.
Takeaways:
In this webinar, Dr. Robert Dillon will discuss how designing for educators can help support learners.
Join us to learn more about:
• The
impacts of your learning spaces on both educators and learners
• Creating a plan to provide teachers with the best possible surroundings to showcase their craft
• How environment can improve job satisfaction and teacher retention in your school
