SAANYS Connect: FUNDING FORUM: How School Districts are Planning on Using Federal Stimulus Funding Allocations

Federal stimulus funding is substantial and intended to support districts in their recovery from the pandemic and their transition to a post-pandemic environment. Information on multiple funding sources, eligible use of the funds, and timelines for expending the allocations will be addressed. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas on how their districts are thinking about using the funding and how the needs of their buildings are incorporated into district plans.

Real-life examples of effectively using grant funding will also be provided by a representative from the Finger Lakes Community Schools, who has assisted districts in systematically reaching positive outcomes in excess of 50 million dollars in funding over the last five years.
