SAANYS 2019 Summer Symposiums: Putting Students First

Syracuse / Liverpool

Tuesday, August 6: Beyond the ABC’s of Trauma: What Next, What Now?
Presenters: Dr. Joseph Fantigrossi and Jay Roscup
This workshop goes beyond the basics of understanding trauma and ACES and delves into strategies and intervention practices in classrooms and schools. Participants will focus on trauma through the lens of their individual roles and see how new strategies integrate with their current instructional and intervention series. They will come away with a collection of resources, strategies and practices for both systems and classroom work, and see how team based interventions, both academic and behavioral, provide more effective responses that minimize individual burnout.
Register online – August 6
