For many students, the ability to pursue their dreams of attending college is a daunting and costly process. With the goal of making the cost less of a factor, the Board of SAANYS Region 11 has been awarding scholarships to hard-working high school seniors in our 11-county region.  Our hope is that this “Support a Scholar” charity golf tournament will increase the number of scholarships and the number of students who are able to receive them. With your help, and the help of other sponsors and educators, we can make more of these scholarships a reality.

Livingston Country Club located at 4436 Lakeville Road, Geneseo, NY 14454 
Registration deadline June 30, 2023
Open Division fee $100 per golfer

            [post_content] => Join colleagues at the 10th Annual Regional Leadership Institute (RLI) for a day of professional learning and networking. This year's focus is Developing Future-Focused Schools with keynote speaker Dr. Luvelle Brown, Superintendent and author of Culture of Love: Cultivating a Positive and Transformational Organizational Culture. Breakout session topics will include ChaptGPT, AI, Future of Facilities and more. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Teams of 4 or more receive 1 extra seat at no cost. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Brown's book. Breakfast and Lunch are included in the cost of admission.

Key Note Speaker
Dr. Luvelle Brown currently serves as the Superintendent of the Ithaca City School District in Ithaca, New York. During his tenure in Ithaca, the Ithaca City School District has experienced unprecedented levels of success. The 2017 New York State Superintendent of the Year has been listed by TrustED as one of the nation’s top educators and thought leaders. In 2022, he received the prestigious Dr. Effie H. Jones Humanitarian Award. Dr. Brown has been recognized by the National School Boards Association as a “20-to-Watch” and “Difference Maker,” received the Center for Digital Education Top 30 Award, and received the 2014 eSchool News Tech-Savvy Superintendent Award. He was selected by the US Department of Education as one of the nation’s top 100 Innovative Superintendents. In recognition of RLI’s 10th anniversary, receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Brown’s book with each registration and an opportunity for a book signing during the event.
