Redefining the Role of the Assistant Principal

Redefining the Role of the Assistant Principal in Today’s Learning Environments

Registration is closed.

The role of AP has always been one of the most challenging, but never more so than now. And even if you’ve been at it for a while, nothing could have prepared you for the leadership role you would be called upon to do during a global pandemic. The most critical thing for school leaders like you to be doing right now is connecting with your colleagues. No one has all of the answers, but together you have ideas to share, skill sets to learn, and support to offer one another.

Sessions 1 and 2 are presented by Kristen Lennon-McMahan, the assistant principal at Shenendehowa High School West and the SAANYS/NASSP 2020 Assistant Principal of the Year. She is known as an administrator who is passionate about helping her students grow into empathetic young adults.
